CHAPEL OF THE CARMELITES OF THE ASSUMPTION : JOHN DOE

I think I may have to start going to church! This is the second incredibly beautiful chapel I have come across this week. The simplistic, paired back nature of these spaces is so appealing to me. Soft and minimal yet with incredibly strong lines and bold colours. Oh im in love.

John Doe (teamed with architects 3Box) has recently breathed new life into the existing chapel designed by Noël Lemaresquier (a disciple of Le Corbusier) in 1959.

The impeccably designed pews have been produced in oak with the alter being a slab of pure black Zimbabwean granite.
