I have recently had the pleasure of experiencing the new Harrods shoe gallery…and I must say…it just makes me want to buy shoes!!! (not that I have ever needed encouraging before)

The new women’s shoe fit out has been designed by London / Singapore based designers Shed who have an extensive portfolio of clients such as Prada, Spencer Hart and Hunter.

An extension to Harrods already ultra glam and opulent interiors, the shoe boutique brings 1920s Glamour into the present. Ice-cream coloured fabrics with intricate feminine embroidery contrasts against the harder lines of the art deco style fit out. A 30m long ceiling and light feature swirls its way through out the space echoed in the milky white flooring and bronze inlay.

The brass capped shelves, white Calcutta fronted drawers, brushed, polished and highly reflective bronze and copper makes for an elegant and rich look.
