THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL : COLOUR IN INTERIORS

Spring has sprung!! and although im still dressed  head to toe in black (the designers uniform) I am absolutly obsessing over all things colourful.

It is however, only a brave designer that can use colour in such a bold way, Kelly Wearstler has has truly mastered the technique as have a number of the more ‘retro’ designers of our time.

COLOUR IN ART

I recently went to an exhibition with a good friend of mine, and discovered that he had an attraction to colour. Every piece he loved was full of contrasts, bold and vibrant colours. He was drawn to the works….. and I think I may be exactly the same! See below a few of my favorite artists whos works excite me with their bursts of neon, splashes of red and often unusual mix of tones.
